There is a $30 nonrefundable application fee that is required before you can be admitted to CF.  You will be able to pay your fee after your application is processed either online or at a CF cashier's window.

Password Considerations:

You will have access to admission status, financial aid, registration and other services through the MyCF student portal.

Please create a password to the MyCF portal. For security reasons, your password must observe these rules:

-- Must be 8 characters long

-- Include at least one number and one letter

-- Must contain only the characters a-z, A-Z or 0-9

-- No symbols may be used

Examples of passwords not allowed are 456789, allalphas, |1ve, unt!l, my_app.

Testing and Exams

Credit By Exam

AICE, AP, IB, CLEP and DANTES are credit by exams that "could" award you credit. Please indicate which, if any, examination you have successfully passed and submit the official scores to the Office of Admissions and Student Recruitment. This should be done prior to meeting with your assigned advisor.

Placement Test Scores

Degree-seeking applicants to any public university or state/community college in the Florida college system must present placement test scores taken within the last two years as a part of the application process or meet the exemption according to Senate Bill 1720. CF accepts any of the three tests authorized by the state: ACT, SAT or PERT (Postsecondary Education Readiness test).

If you meet the exemption according to Senate Bill 1720, we encourage you to submit test scores (or take the Mathematics part of the ACT, SAT or PERT and submit your scores) to determine accurate course placement for Mathematics (i.e., Intermediate Algebra vs. College Algebra). This should be done prior to meeting with your assigned advisor.
