PC MANAGEMENT (3).
3 hours per week.
This course prepares students with the skills necessary
to work with PCs in a work-related, networked
environment. Operating systems covered will be
Windows 98, Windows 95 and XP. Students will
have hands-on experience partitioning and formatting
a hard drive, installing Windows 98 and XP, configuring
the operating system, installing and configuring
device drivers and setting up the OS as a network
client. Students will also learn to troubleshoot the
operating system.
