Description

CGS 2831 W WEB SERVER TECHNOLOGIES (3) 3 hours per week Prerequisite: CET 1171 or CGS 2557 and CEN 2500 ----------- This course focuses on technologies used for content delivery on the Internet, World Wide Web, and Internets. Students will learn to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft's Internet Information Services (IIS). Topics include the TCP/IP protocol, HTTP servers, FTP servers, business applications of Web servers, and Internet security. This course focuses on Comptia's iNet + Examination Objectives.
