ANS1236 INTRODUCTION TO EQUINE SCIENCE (3) 3 hours per week Designed for students with an interest in equine science but with limited equine experience. Principles of equine selection, care and utilization will be addressed. Additional topics include horse breeds, history, conformation, management, equipment, legal issues, economics, insurance and ethics specific to the equine industry.
