Description

This online course is appropriate for students with intermediate to advanced horse handling skills. Topics discussed in this course will prepare students for advanced employment opportunities, such as assistant trainer, show groom, or equine veterinary assistant. Tack fit, function and specialized equipment will be included. Safety around injured or young horses will be addressed. Students with limited experience handling horses or wanting hands-on practice handling horses should take ANS 1016 Basic Horse Handling and Safety.
