Description

This course introduces the basic scientific concepts and techniques in digital media production. Students will learn the fundamental processes of digital media: sampling, quantizing and compression. The basics theory and techniques of capturing digital images including digital cameras and scanner will be covered. Capturing and editing digital audio will be covered, plus the fundamental of digital video. Hands-on projects in image create and editing, sound create and editing, plus animation will help students understand the power and scope of this discipline.
