HIM 2232 F ICD-9-CM CODING (2) 3 hours per week Prerequisite: HSC 2531, CGS1100 and BSC 1080 This course provides instruction in the basic principles and guidelines for using the International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM) in the coding of diagnoses and procedures.
