Description
This course is designed to provide a study in mathematical ideas suitable for education majors and those needing course work for teacher re-certification. The topics covered will include number sense, concepts and operations, measurement, geometry and spatial sense, algebraic thinking, data analysis and probability. The topics are in alignment with the NCTM standards, the Sunshine State Standards, math curriculum of Marion, Citrus and Levy counties, and the FCAT.
