Description

This course is designed for those students who do not need Statistics, College Algebra or Pre-Calculus mathematics. This course covers a selection of topics from within the following general areas: financial mathematics, linear and exponential growth, numbers and number systems, history of mathematics, elementary number theory, voting techniques, and graph theory. It is strongly suggested that students who plan to take MGF 1107 complete MGF 1106 prior to taking this course. This course does count toward the Gordon Rule mathematics requirements for the A. A. degree.
