Admission to the LPN to ADN Bridge Program required. Students will complete 5 hours of class per week (6.7 hours Summer C) and 6 hours of clinical lab per week (8 hours Summer C). Bridge Nursing is designed to facilitate the transition of the Licensed Practical Nurse to the role of the Associate Degree Nurse and to build on the PN curriculum. Nursing III and IV build on and expand from this course. In this course students gain beginning knowledge about Associate Degree Nursing and the Neuman Systems Model. The model includes client and environmental systems affected by five variables: physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural and spiritual. It addresses health as a continuum. The faculty designed the nursing curriculum with the Neuman Systems Model as the conceptual basis. The other major c
