Description

This course builds upon the knowledge acquired in Clinical Concepts I, II, and III, and focuses on the role of the nurse in providing safe, competent, and holistic evidenced-based care for clients with complex physiological imbalances. Emphasis is on the advanced application of the nursing process, and the successful completion of clinical experiences within acute care and community settings. Upon completion of this course, students will demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to provide quality entry level nursing care (4 credits theory, 3 credits clinical lab.)
