Description

OST 2601 W MACHINE TRANSCRIPTION AND VOICE RECOGNITION SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY (3) 3 hours per week Prerequisites: OST 1100, ENC 1100 This course covers basic dictation, transcription and voice recognition technology. Students will transcribe industry specific, as well as general business documents. Emphasis will be placed on the creation and use of various forms. Spelling, punctuation, grammar, proofreading and editing skills are applied to produce mailable business letter and other office related documents.
