Description
The student may take any module in a credit or non-credit mode. Each module will give one hour of science credit. Only if the student takes all four modules will he or she receive four hours credit for lecture/laboratory combinations. This series of mini-classes introduces the relationship between weather and climate and how it influences ecosystems. Special emphasis is placed on local and regional weather/ climatic conditions. Each module is comprised of 12 hours of activities and 6 hours of laboratory/field experience. Part 3 is: "Florida's Climate and Weather." This course may be counted as either a biological OR physical science credit.
