If you are expecting Financial Aid to pay for your tuition and fees, you are responsible for checking your financial aid offer. Click the My Financial Aid Offer link above to verify that you have been offered financial aid. If your aid is enough to fully pay your tuition and fees, no payment is required before your financial aid is disbursed.

Initial Financial Aid offers are based on full-time (12 credit hours) enrollment and enrollment in either C term courses or A and B term courses each semester. After the add/drop period, aid offers will be adjusted to reflect final enrollment status and comply with program budget limits.

Have your financial circumstances changed? We can review your Financial Aid. The past year has been financially challenging for many families. If your family has experienced unusual circumstances, your financial aid file can be reviewed for updates to your federal financial aid eligibility. Unusual situations or circumstances that might merit a review include: Loss of employment or reduction of income for parents of dependent students Loss of employment or reduction of income for students Death of a parent (dependent students) or death of a spouse (independent students) Significant medical expenses that are not covered by insurance Other significant changes in household income or household expenses To request a review of your federal financial aid eligibility, submit a Professional Judgment Request form and provide documentation of the circumstances relating to your change in financial status. Professional judgment requests are handled on a case-by-case basis, and are usually reviewed within 10 business days. Book Charge Dates:

Students are required to complete the Bookstore Authorization one time while attending CF. If you are unable to access the Bookstore Authorization link, it means that you have already completed this requirement. Please verify that you have financial aid funds (in excess of your tuition and fees) available before proceeding to the bookstore.

Bookstore Authorization

Online ordering ends at noon on the last day of charging for the term. Any orders received after that time will be cancelled by the bookstore. If your order is cancelled for this reason, please resubmit your order and select another form of payment at checkout or visit the bookstore in person.

Financial Aid Disbursements

Expected disbursement dates below are for students who meet all disbursement criteria, including attendance. Students with B term classes will receive disbursements after attendance is confirmed in the B term.

Fall A/C term disbursements are expected to begin on Sept. 4, 2024*.

Fall B term disbursements are expected to begin on Oct. 30, 2024*.

*Refunds are generally available on Bank Mobile Vibe Card two to three business days after funds are disbursed. Refunds to other bank accounts may take an additional 1 to 2 business days.

Viewing Your Financial Aid Offer

To see your financial aid, select My Financial Aid, then My Financial Aid Awards. If there is no aid listed, select Missing Documents to determine the status of your file.

Were you selected for financial aid verification? Not sure what documents to submit? Log in to your MyCF student portal; select the Financial Aid tab at the top, the My Financial Aid button at the bottom and the Missing Documents link. You can electronically submit PDF's of some of the required documents. If we accept that particular document electronically, there will be an "Upload" link on your Missing Documents page.

Remember, you must have sufficient financial aid in place to cover all fees or your fees must be paid in full by your due date to hold your classes. To check your fee payment due date on your Fee Statement go to MyCF, Enrollment, My Classes and Fees, and then Fee Statement.

Federal Direct Loans for 2024-2025

Students receiving financial aid for 2024-2025 will be offered the maximum amount of eligible aid, including Federal Stafford Loans. For students with Federal Direct Loan(s), loan disbursements will be processed if the student has an active Master Promissory Note, Loan Entrance Counseling and confirmed attendance. Students who wish to receive the loans should check their My Financial Aid/Missing Documents link to see if the Master Promissory Note, Entrance Counseling or Financial Awareness Counseling are needed. Students who do not want to receive the loan awards should complete a 2024-2025 Federal Direct Loan Change Form and submit it to the Financial Aid Office. All students must attend a minimum of six credit hours per semester to be eligible for Federal Direct Loans.
