MUT 2117 MUSIC THEORY IV (3) 45 contact hours Prerequisites: MUT2116 or permission of instructor Co-requisite: MUT 2247 (CONCURRENT) Music Theory IV: The course continues written and analytical study of musical materials, including chromatic, impressionistic, and 20th century music, 9th, 11th, and 13th chords, and chords and progressions in special situations.
