Description
This course looks at the classification, causation, and introductory treatment issues of deviant patterns of behavior and psychopathology. The major types of psychological disorders, diagnostic classifications, and proper terminology are presented. Theories of disorders, research in the field, and historical and current prevalence will be discussed. Ethical and legal issues will also be addressed.
