Description

SYG 2340 W HUMAN SEXUALITY AND SOCIETY (3) 3 hours per week. A study of the physiological, psychological and cultural factors that affect the sexual behavior of human beings. Topics include, but are not limited to, historical and cross-cultural perspectives, research methodology, sexuality and the mass media, gender roles, sexual development, sexual arousal and response, sexual orientation, sexuality as communication and an expression of love, bitrh control, pregnancy, childbirth, sexual dysfunctions, sexual violence, sexual harassment, and sexually transmitted infections.
