Description

This course explores advanced applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), global positioning systems (GPS), and remote sensing (RS). Students will apply their knowledge of spatial data to manage, symbolize, query, and analyze geospatial information. Topics include integrating GPS data with GIS, utilizing remote sensing imagery for spatial analysis, and developing projects that address real-world challenges, such as disaster management, environmental monitoring, and urban planning.
