Description

This is an overview of the criminal justice system and a history of law. The basic components of law are studied, with specific focus on officer application. Court procedures and testimony are examined. The concepts of probation and parole and the philosophy of corrections are studied. Objectives are addressed as specified by the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission
