    Description

The first course in college composition designed to develop skills in writing multi-paragraph essays with emphasis on exposition, including the selection, restriction, organization, development, and revision of essays. It offers the student opportunities to improve CLAST English skills. Students examine selected writing samples as models of form and sources of ideas for their own writing. A research paper is also required.
