A survey of the field of interpersonal communication
that includes a review of the theory, research and skills
students can use to improve the quality of their
relationships. Includes units on the communication
process, conversation, self-concept, perception,
language, nonverbal communication, intercultural
communication, listening, expressing emotions and
thoughts, relationship maintenance, communication
climate, and conflict management.
