Description
This course explores the origin of life on our planet and examines the process of evolution that shaped the vast diversity of life forms such as prokaryotes, algae, fungi, plants, animals that occupy/occupied the planet throughout its vast history. This course also looks at the importance of ecology to all the life on this planet. This course is intended for majors. Completion of Biology I is recommended before taking this course. 3 hours lecture and 2 hours laboratory per week.
