Description

PCB 1440C W, S FLORIDA'S LANDSCAPE, PART I (1) 18 total hours per term The student may take any module in a credit or non-credit mode. Each module will give one hour of science credit. Only if the student takes all four modules will he/she receive four credit hours for lecture/laboratory combinations. This series of mini-classes focuses on basic ecological concepts: biotic and biotic factors, energy flow, succession, influences of fire on Florida's ecosystems, and identification of plants and animals common to the ecosystems of central Florida. Each module is comprised of 12 hours of lecture and 6 hours of laboratory/field experience. Part I is, "Ecosystems of Florida." This course counted as either a biological OR physical science credit.
