    Description

    The student may take any module in a credit or noncredit mode. Each module will give one hour of science credit. Only if the student takes all four modules will he or she receive four hours credit for lecture/laboratory combinations. This series of mini-classes introduces the relationship between weather and climate and how it influences ecosystems. Special emphasis is placed on local and regional weather/climatic conditions. Each module is comprised of 12 hours of activities and 6 hours of laboratory/field experience. Part 3 is: "Florida's Climate and Weather." This course may be counted as either a biological or physical science credit. 18 total hours per semester.
